Senior .NET Developer

Job description

30K is hiring a Senior .NET Developer to help manage, develop and support its system of air fare attributes and frequent flyer program data provision to online travel agents and flight aggregators. The job involves a gradual handover in responsibility of handling technical matters with the potential of subsequently becoming the Head of Engineering. The position will report to the CTO based in Poland.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s/College Degree in Computer Science or similar;
• Work experience with the .NET platform of 5+ years;
• Strong knowledge and understanding of OOP with C#;
• Experience with .NET Framework 4.5+, .NET8 and docker is a plus;
• Entity Framework and MSSQL database knowledge on a medium+ level;
• Experience with RabbitMQ;
• Practical use of AWS services (EC2, EKS, RDS, S3 etc.);
• Good understanding of Windows Services and REST API;
• AngularJS as a plus;
• Hands-in experience with CI/CD practices as a plus;
• Solid understanding of TDD and BDD;
• Strong analytical skills;
• Good oral and written communication;
• Strong attention to detail with ability to summarize/break down complex information into simpler terms/units of data;
• Self-motivated, highly adaptable and results driven;
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and under tight deadlines;
• Ideally based in Europe or the Philippines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the existing platform and codebase,
• Help in migrating existing codebase to the most recent .NET stack,
• Look after infrastructure in AWS,
• Improving performance of existing API and help it scale to the x100 level,
• Help the team with ad hoc tech requests like parsing, reshaping, scraping data etc,
• Implementing continued product and feature development based on signals from product, sales and product marketing.

Data Integrity Analyst

Job description

We are looking for Data Integrity Analyst to help manage, control, and assure quality of the frequent flyer program data in our database.

The job involves a complete responsibility of the operational quality of the content of our product, which consists of the earning, redemption, and benefit rules of 70 frequent flyer programs. The position reports to the Programs Operations Manager based out of Manila.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s/College Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Statistics, Mathematics or any equivalent or related course - Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply;
• Knowledge and experience in using MS Office;
• Good oral and written communication;
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills with ability to summarize/break down complex information into simpler terms/units of data;
• Self-motivated, highly adaptable and results driven;
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and under tight deadlines;
• Experience in data collection, business research and customer service would be an advantage;
• Must be willing to work in Makati.

Responsibilities

• Managing database content and understanding how it impacts the product,
• Identifying and adding missing content, information and programs,
• Contacts with Frequent Flyer Programs and retrieval of information,
• Organizing quality assurance methods,
• Contribute in formulating database development and enhancement requirements as well as additional features and products with Head of Product.
